Drafting the plan
The firm’s existing website wasn’t built with SEO in mind and therefore Google wasn’t picking it up. We started by analysing the performance of the current website and working with the team at Hamiltons to put together a list of objectives.
Drawing up the details
Our recommendation was to overhaul the text completely with SEO in mind, and ensure the project images were front and centre. The navigation of the site was completely altered to ensure users could find information quickly and easily.
The design was chosen with architecture at the forefront. The visuals are clean and clear, and the pictures sit free, without being boxed in.
Colour codes were chosen for each of the industry areas Hamiltons works in. This allows users to easily find the category of projects that best suits them. Modern, vibrant colours were chosen, which acts to break up to the cool greys and the black and white aesthetic.
Design and development was broken down into several sprints, allowing us to rapidly create the website. As designs were signed off, these pages would be integrated into the new CMS and released to Hamiltons for testing.
This allowed for a smooth sprint cycle that maximised the time frame for the project.

A website that reflects the quality work that Hamiltons produce on a daily basis.
With a heavy focus on the imagery produced as part of the architectural design process, the website now gives users a feel for how Hamiltons work and is now working much harder for the business producing regular, quality leads for the business to follow up with.
