Why we ♥ Clerkenwell
Though Clerkenwell began as one of London’s most prominent industrial hubs, it has experienced a radical transformation in the past decade. The recent influx of young professionals, restaurants, and nightlife has made Clerkenwell one of London’s most exciting recent developments.
As a result, you will regularly find members of the MintTwist team exploring all Clerkenwell has to offer. With Exmouth Market in the local vicinity, there is certainly no shortage of shopping destinations. Two of our favourites are the quaint gift shop that is Family Tree and the oasis of bags – Bagman and Robin.
When it comes to spending a whole day in the local area, we can’t avoid the wonderfully interactive Postal Museum and all the historical knowledge it has to offer.
We have a real soft spot for Italian food at MintTwist, so it is fitting that one of London’s most exciting Italian restaurants can be found in the local area. Santore offer a range of tasty pasta dishes and a wonderful deep-fried calamari dish.
When out a bit later in the evening, it is hard to look past the beautifully green-tiled Exmouth Arms when searching for a local watering hole.
