KSS specialise in architecture and design for major sports venues and training facilities including the new Anfield redevelopment for Liverpool FC and No. 1 Court at Wimbledon.
KSS also work on large scale educational projects and residential developments.
With their 25th birthday on the horizon, KSS reached out to us to redesign their website to align with fresh branding and new online direction.
One of the core objectives for the project was to showcase the incredible work that the KSS team deliver for their clients.
To do so, we re-designed and built a sleek and modern site with a huge emphasis on photography with the ability for the marketing team to manage their impressive portfolio of projects with ease. We also emphasised their 25th birthday throughout the website.
It was also imperative that the new website was incredibly user-friendly, had easy navigation and reflected the company’s new branding. In order to deliver on this, we restructured the website and simplified the number of main page groupings, consolidating the case studies and gallery pages into a single creative portfolio section.
For the bespoke CMS, we analysed and bench-marked the old site first and identified specific KPI’s for the new site. After reviewing the data, we strategically planned how we would build the CMS.
We used a bespoke plug-in to enable full customisation of the homepage that pulls content from their articles and allows the company to update their website’s content in-house.
We audited the existing version of the website to identify all the pre-existing SEO issues which would need resolving as part of this new project.
With these issues passed on to the development team to resolve, we created an ongoing SEO strategy for the KSS team which would help consolidate and improve the rankings they already had, as well as allowing us to start to rank for the much more competitive, high-volume keywords that they aspired to be found for.
