The mission

Working closely with the team at Discovery Education, we distilled the campaign objectives into 3 main points:

  • Raise primary and secondary teachers’ awareness of Discovery Education’s resources
  • Increase brand awareness in UK schools
  • PPC, display and social media campaigns targeted at the education sector

Inspiring exploration

Serving 4.5 million educators and over 50 million students, Discovery Education is a strong worldwide brand but a newcomer to the UK education market, an objective was to increase awareness of Discovery Education within primary and secondary schools.

We encouraged teachers to engage with the brand online and explore their excellent product offering of more than 19,500 digital resources and over 1 million apps created and published by students.

Encourage innovative partnerships

We started by positioning Discovery Education as an empowering partner to educators which seemed to resonate with teachers.

We communicated that not only do the quality tools Discovery Education provide make the classroom environment more engaging, but also simplify keeping teaching content up-to-date.

We ensured that teachers could see innovative lesson plans, video, games and activity resources were only a registration away, and this offering proved compelling.

Finesse

The new website aims to differentiate the firm from their competition. It showcases the modern, custom feel the firm was aiming for, while still running smoothly, efficiently and keeping SEO in mind the whole time. One key requirement was the ability for Wisteria to take full control over their pages, media and SEO. Using WordPress allowed us to provide a quick, simple CMS.
