The mission

There were 3 core objectives to the project:

  • Review the website and existing SEO performance to identify improvements
  • Increase online revenue and number of transactions
  • Increase organic search traffic

Digging deep

We ran an in-depth digital marketing audit that looked at key areas such as technical search engine optimisation, website design, content quality, and competitor performance.

The final report highlighted where work was needed, as well as opportunities that would support the SEO work such as moving content from their Beautiful Gardens magazine online and special preview weekends.

Working with their in-house marketing team, we developed a campaign plan to address the SEO problems and drive their digital strategy forward.

Creating a new digital marketing landscape

The campaign focuses on on-page and off-page optimisation, as well as content marketing.

By improving the website’s page content, titles, metadata and image descriptions, Bents have seen rankings rise and more organic traffic come to the website.

Rewriting and optimising brand, category and product content has seen search and revenue increase dramatically — in many cases by over 100%.

Through ongoing blogger outreach campaigns, Bents have been able to gain increased brand awareness across the UK.

And so...

The ongoing SEO and content has increased traffic, conversions and revenue dramatically for the website. Bents also ranks in the top three positions for keywords such as “garden centres manchester”.

We continue to work with Bents on their SEO and overall digital strategy, which also includes planning for seasonal events such as Christmas and content marketing.
